Overview
The Austrian Embassy at Barros Errázuriz 1968, 3rd floor, in the Providencia district of Santiago represents Austria's interests in Chile. The embassy promotes bilateral cooperation in trade, culture, science, and tourism. Austria and Chile share strong ties in renewable energy (Chile's Atacama solar and Patagonian wind sectors attract Austrian technology companies), mining technology, and academic exchange. An Austrian Cultural Forum operates at the embassy.
