Overview
The Embassy of Chile at 50 O'Connor Street, Suite 1413, in downtown Ottawa represents Chile's interests in Canada. Canada and Chile share a strong partnership as CPTPP and APEC members, reinforced by the Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreement (in force since 1997 — one of Chile's earliest FTAs). Canadian mining companies are among the largest foreign investors in Chile's copper and lithium sectors. Consulates-general in Toronto and Vancouver serve the Chilean community across Canada. A Youth Mobility Agreement facilitates working holiday exchanges between the two countries.
