Eswatini Honorary Consulate in Vienna

Consulate of Eswatini in Vienna, Austria

Overview

In Vienna's 9th district (Alsergrund) at Widerhoferplatz, Honorary Consul Kommerzialrat Dkfm. Herbert Vohryzka has represented the Kingdom of Eswatini since 1992 – over three decades of service to the small southern African monarchy formerly known as Swaziland (renamed in 2018). The consulate provides a local point of contact for the Austrian-Eswatini community and promotes bilateral relations between Austria and this landlocked kingdom bordered by South Africa and Mozambique. Eswatini's unique cultural heritage, including the famous Umhlanga Reed Dance, and its natural attractions draw adventurous travelers to this lesser-known African destination.
