Overview
The U.S. Embassy in Algiers is the main American diplomatic mission in Algeria. Located in the El-Biar district, it handles visa applications from Algerian nationals, supports U.S. citizens living in or visiting Algeria, and facilitates commercial and cultural ties between the two countries.
Visa Services
The embassy processes nonimmigrant visas — including tourist, business, student, and work categories — as well as immigrant visas. All visa appointments must be scheduled online through the embassy website.
Consular Services
